Print Alarm Grid Entries

Alarm Grid entries can be printed off for later reference.

To print the entries in your Alarm Grid:

  1. Add or Edit a Workflow.
  2. Add an Action block.
  3. Double-click the Action block to open the Action Browser.
  4. In the Objects pane, expand Display Layout. Expand layout containing your Alarm Grid and select it.
  5. In the Commands pane, select Print On Workstation Default Printer.
  6. Click OK.

When the Workflow is triggered in Runtime, the print operation may take a short while to run, and is sent to the default printer configured for the Workstation. You will not see a visual indication of the print job being completed.

Warning: If the printer on the Workstation is not set up properly, the print job is ignored.

The entries are always printed using the below format:

  • Data is ordered the same way it is being displayed in the Alarm Grid
  • Prints in black and white (black text and white background)
  • Uses standard 1" margins, and must be used on 8.5" x 11" paper
  • Landscape orientation
  • Footer with page numbers
