Web Browser

The Web Browser provides the ability to go to web pages from Runtime.

To use a Web Browser with your Display Layout:

  1. In Project Explorer, double-click your Display Layout to edit or right-click to Add a new one.
  2. Drag and drop the Web Browser from the Toolbox into the work area.
  3. Configure the Web Browser in the Properties grid.
    1. Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox if you want scripts to be able to execute.
    2. Set the Home Page. The default is https://ipfusion.ca.
    3. Check the Show Address Bar checkbox to display the address bar. This allows the user to go back and forward on pages, as well as enter in a URL.
Warning: The Web Browser item ignores SSL errors from websites. Ensure your users are careful to not go to potentially dangerous websites.
