Configure Startup Maps

A Map Container can be configured to display specific Maps on certain Workstations when the Display Layout is loaded or a user logs in to Runtime.

To configure the Startup Maps for a Map Container, follow the steps below.
  1. In Project Explorer, double-click the Display Layout containing the Map Container.
  2. Select the Map Container.
  3. In the Properties grid, click the ellipsis (...) button next to Startup Maps.
  4. For each Workstation, select the desired Startup Map from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click OK.

When an operator opens the Display Layout in Runtime, it will show the Startup Map configured for that Workstation.

Warning: If a user does not have security privileges allowing them to view the chosen Startup Map, the Map Container will display a blank screen until the user navigates to a different one.
