.NET 4.8
Prerequisites:
  • An SQL Server installed and connected to the network.
  • PrismUI Installer.
  • The Logging service requires both Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) and Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC) services to be available.
  1. Unzip the installer folder and run the enclosed setup.exe file.
  2. In the Tools section, select Logging.
  3. Click Install.
  4. In the Logging Service Setup, click Next.
  5. Click Browse... to change the installation directory.
  6. After accepting the license terms and conditions, click Next.
  7. In the Server field, enter in the name of the SQL server to be used for the logging service, and select whether it is using a trusted connection. If not, enter in the login information for the server.
  8. In the Database field, enter IPFusion as the database name. If the database does not already exist on the SQL server, it will be created automatically.
  9. Click Install.

If the client Workstation is not logging, try the following:

  • Check the event viewer in Windows, and see IPFusion - Logging Service for errors.
  • Ensure the current user has permissions to the database being used.
  • Ensure MDTC is enabled.
  • In Windows services, restart IPFusion - Logging Service.

Once your logging server is set up, you can set that as the logging server in your Project Settings.
